i agree with the taoist
philosophy almost completely...
but not quite.
i believe that people are born naturally
good, and if let alone
they will do what is right. but, i
also think that no one
has the ability to judge what is
right and wrong for
another human being. i think that
we all have our own
ideas. one may think that it's ok
to go and kill someone,
and one may not think that it's
ok (i for one..don't)
but, what i'm saying is..that person
that does go and kill
someone when in their mind they
think it's wrong,
is definately commiting a 'sin'. if that
person however thinks
that they're doing the right thing
by killing someone,
to them they aren't commiting a sin.
basically i think that
no one has the room to judge what
another person does.
i think that if someone kills someone,
ofcourse they must be
punished, because that person
has crossed the line
and has begun to involve other
unwilling people in
his beliefs. basically, what i'm trying
to say is that, it's
not right for other people to push their
opinions and judgements
onto other people, if they think
what they are doing
is right morally, then no one has the
right to tell them to
change, or to pass judgement on them.
i personally think that
it's rather hypocritical of some 'christians'
to for instance, go
to abortion clinics and kill 'sinners' or to
rally against gay people.
if they think it's wrong...ok, then
they think it's wrong.
i hear many people say 'well, i'm straight,
but i don't go telling
the whole world about it, so why do gay people,
have to have parades,
and tell the whole free country that they're
gay?' well...my
dears, you, by rallying against them, are you not
doing exactly what you
don't want them to do? you're telling
everyone that you don't
believe gay people are 'living right', by
rallying against them,
and forcing your ideas on everyone else,
which is also what they
are doing by telling everyone that they can
think of. the
reason why you're rallying is because they come
out and tell everyone
their sexual orientation which you don't
agree with. well,
you're doing the exact same thing that you find
them wrong for.
for telling everyone they're gay, you are mad.
so...you're going to
go and do what they're doing (only with a different
purpose) to show that
you're against them. if you don't believe in
it, why not just, DON'T
believe in it? and if you're gay...why not just...
BE gay? don't
go tell everyone you ever met or are soon to meet that:
"i'm gay by the way,
so deal with it" it would stop alot of confrontations
if you'd just be yourself.
no one really cares! if you're gay...good for
you. i'm not going
to spend my nights wondering who is and who isn't
straight or gay.
i don't care. that's their lives, not mine, they aren't involving
me...i think we should
just worry about ourselves, and leave other peoples
morals and beliefs alone.
that is, unless they start dragging other people
into their lives.
p.s. just so you'll
know, no...i'm NOT gay :)
